the kingsize bedroom i had in the old castle section was lovely, great size and atmosphere. the hotel garden was really pretty and spacious. also, the staff were friendly and helpful.
i had a couple of issues with the spa treatments being cancelled last minute and the pool was a bit chilly. also, the air conditioning in the room couldve been better.

The beautiful historical grounds offer lovely walking trails for exploring and unwinding after a long day. The swimming pool provides a cozy spot for relaxation, creating a nice atmosphere to recharge.
The room cleanliness left much to be desired, with carpets needing a thorough clean and a general mustiness pervading the building. Finding our room was a hassle. we had to drive from the main reception, which caught us off guard. The dining experience was chaotic due to loud and crowded conditions during peak meal times, and the menu lacked variety. outdated facilities, particularly in the leisure center, felt more like a budget gym than a proper hotel.

The large, comfortable room afforded a relaxing stay, complemented by the pleasant sauna and swimming pool facilities. Staff were wonderfully accommodating, especially during meal times, ensuring we were fed despite the closing hours. the dining options were quite limited, feeling more like fast food than luxury cuisine, and it took an excessive amount of time to receive our food.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the soothing massage at the spa followed by a dip in the heated pool, which was such a nice way to unwind. The hotel is lovely overall, but it was a bit tricky to find our way around in the dark when we arrived since there weren't enough lights. Definitely consider upgrading your room for a much nicer stay! 🌟

Had a great time with friends here! We enjoyed the lovely grounds and spa facilities. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, and the friendly staff made the stay even better. Don't miss out on the evening meals in the brasserie. Just keep in mind, the hotel gates are currently down, so follow signs to the alternate entrance.
One downside was the lack of air conditioning in our room, which was uncomfortable during our stay.
